Shinta Kamdani Says Businesspeople Have Prepared an Economic Roadmap for Prabowo
Wednesday, 10 April 2024Chairman of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO), Shinta W. Kamdani, stated that businesspeople have prepared an economic roadmap for the next administration. Meanwhile, Prabowo-Gibran won in the vote tally conducted by the KPU.
"We have prepared an economic roadmap containing inputs from business actors across various sectors and cross-sectoral for the next government," Shinta told the media at the official residence of Investment Minister Bahlil Lahadalia on Wednesday (10/4).
"We (APINDO) are more focused on the structure and inputs for the ministries. Regarding individuals, I think we all want those who are capable and forward-thinking, but we leave all decisions to the president," she added.
Shinta said that regeneration within the cabinet is essential. However, she mentioned that the selection of ministers is purely the prerogative of the elected president.
"Regeneration is indeed good, but there are certain individuals whom Mr. Prabowo considers important to be included in the cabinet," Shinta said.
