APINDO North Kalimantan: Maintaining Good Relations Between Employers and Workers

TARAKAN, North Kalimantan – The Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) of North Kalimantan continues to promote and maintain good relations between employers and workers.

Chairman of APINDO North Kalimantan, Peter Setiawan, said strong relations between employers and workers represent a mutually beneficial partnership for both sides, allowing issues that arise to be resolved through dialogue and a family-oriented approach.

“Employers are making every effort to prevent layoffs from occurring,” Peter Setiawan said on Thursday (May 28, 2026).

Peter acknowledged that APINDO has so far observed good relations between employers and workers across North Kalimantan, resulting in relatively few cases involving layoffs.

“The key is that employers and workers stand together,” he said.
