Cikarang Selatan – The Regency Board of the Asosiasi Pengusaha Indonesia (APINDO) Bekasi Regency held a Ramadan iftar gathering along with charity assistance for orphans and visually impaired Qur’an memorizers.

The event, themed “Attaining the Blessings of Ramadan through Compassion that Inspires the Heart,” was held solemnly at the Hotel Grand Zuri Jababeka on Tuesday evening (March 10, 2026).

The program began at 4:30 p.m. with performances by a Marawis group and the Saman dance presented by students from SMA Negeri 1 Tambun Selatan. The religious atmosphere deepened as verses of the Qur’an were recited by visually impaired students from Bekasi Regency who are national Qur’an memorization champions.

Encouraging a Conducive Business Climate

Chairman of APINDO Bekasi Regency, M. Yusuf Wibisono, emphasized in his remarks the importance of social interaction and solidarity as a foundation for business stability.

“Through this gathering, I hope we can encourage a more conducive business environment in Bekasi Regency,” Yusuf said. He also expressed appreciation to all committee members and organizers who consistently maintain positive initiatives during Ramadan 1447 H.

Harmonious Industrial Relations as the Key to Progress

Representing the Bekasi Regency Government, Secretary of the Manpower Office Nur Hidayah Setyowati highlighted the importance of synergy among the three pillars of industrial relations.

According to her, harmonious relations between employers, workers, and the government are essential prerequisites for regional progress.

“Let us use the momentum of Ramadan 1447 H to strengthen faith and devotion. I invite all of us to work hand in hand—APINDO, the government, and other stakeholders—to build harmonious industrial relations, especially amid current global political uncertainties,” she said.

Social Responsibility and Religious Reflection

As a demonstration of social responsibility, the event included the donation of Braille Qur’ans for visually impaired students as well as financial assistance for orphans. The initiative was widely appreciated as a tangible expression of the business community’s social commitment in Bekasi Regency.

The event concluded with a group photo session and a religious sermon delivered by Muchamad Azhari Nasution before all invited guests broke their fast together at the call to the Maghrib prayer.

Also present at the event were APINDO advisor Sutomo along with several division heads from the Bekasi Regency Manpower Office.
