KUDUS – The Kudus Chapter Board of the Indonesian Employers’ Association (Apindo) for the 2024–2029 period was officially inaugurated on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. The inauguration ceremony was held at the Kudus Pavilion and led by Frans Kongi, Chair of Apindo Central Java Provincial Board.
Helmi Tas’an Wartono, Chair of Apindo Kudus, described the inauguration as a meaningful moment—more than a simple handover of duties, but a reaffirmation of a shared commitment to strengthening Kudus’ business landscape.
“This moment is not just about a transition of leadership, but a declaration of our collective commitment to building a more resilient, inclusive, and competitive business environment in Kudus,” said Helmi.
Helmi emphasized Apindo's strategic role as a bridge between the business community, government, and society—especially amid global uncertainties and post-pandemic challenges. He called for a united effort to advance the local economy.
“To that end, Apindo Kudus’ work programs will prioritize several key areas, including strengthening Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and local industries to ensure they are competitive both nationally and internationally,” he explained.
He also highlighted the importance of fostering strategic partnerships between large and small businesses under a spirit of inclusive growth, along with advocating for policies that support a fair, healthy, and sustainable business climate.
“Digitalization and human capital development are also central to our agenda, because the future of business relies heavily on technological transformation and enhanced competencies,” he added.
To implement these programs effectively, Helmi noted the need for continued support in the area of business licensing. He extended gratitude to the Kudus Regency Government for its ongoing facilitation of business permits.
“We are fully aware that this is not an easy task. But with the support of local government stakeholders, academics, community members, and our fellow entrepreneurs, we believe Apindo Kudus can become a driving force for regional economic progress,” he concluded.
