DPK APINDO Bogor Regency and Laa Roiba National Islamic Institute Sign MoU on the Implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education

BOGOR, August 5, 2026 – The Bogor Regency Executive Board (DPK) of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) and the Laa Roiba National Islamic Institute in Bogor have agreed to establish a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi).

 

The MoU signing ceremony was held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the campus of the Laa Roiba National Islamic Institute in Sukahati, Cibinong, Bogor Regency.

 

The partnership represents a strategic step toward strengthening synergy between higher education institutions and the business community, particularly in supporting education and teaching, research, and community service.

 

Representing DPK APINDO Bogor Regency were Chairman Ir. Supari Abdul Hayi; Deputy Chairman for Legal Affairs Nanda Iskandar, S.H., C.P.L.; and Executive Secretary Virzha Mutia Putri, S.Sos.

 

Meanwhile, the Laa Roiba National Islamic Institute was represented by Rector Dr. Hj. Ernawati, S.E., M.Pd., and Head of Cooperation Affairs Dr. H. Asep Nuhdi, S.Th.I., M.Pd.

 

During the meeting, both parties expressed their commitment to developing productive and sustainable cooperation. The collaboration between higher education and the business community is expected to generate tangible benefits for students, lecturers, local communities, and businesses in Bogor Regency.

 

In the field of education and teaching, the partnership will provide opportunities for collaboration to strengthen students’ competencies through greater engagement with industry and the business community. Students are expected to gain practical insights into the workplace and entrepreneurship, better preparing them to face professional challenges.

 

In the field of research, the partnership is expected to encourage research that is relevant to the needs of businesses and local communities. Higher education institutions can serve as centers for knowledge development, while APINDO can contribute empirical perspectives on the challenges and needs of the business community in Bogor Regency.

 

Meanwhile, in the area of community service, both parties are committed to developing programs that deliver direct benefits to the community. Such collaboration may include community economic empowerment, human resource capacity building, entrepreneurship education, and various social and community development programs.

 

Rector of the Laa Roiba National Islamic Institute Dr. Hj. Ernawati, S.E., M.Pd., welcomed the partnership with DPK APINDO Bogor Regency. She said higher education institutions cannot address the changes and challenges of the times on their own, and that collaboration with the business community is essential to strengthening the relevance of higher education to the needs of society and the labor market.

 

Meanwhile, Chairman of DPK APINDO Bogor Regency Ir. Supari Abdul Hayi said APINDO has a strong interest in continuing to build partnerships with higher education institutions to improve the quality of human resources and strengthen the business ecosystem in Bogor Regency.

 

The signing of the MoU is expected to mark the beginning of various concrete joint programs. The partnership is intended to go beyond a formal cooperation document and be translated into tangible initiatives that benefit students, academics, entrepreneurs, and the wider community.

 

Through the partnership, DPK APINDO Bogor Regency and the Laa Roiba National Islamic Institute reaffirmed their commitment to building collaboration focused on improving human resource quality, advancing knowledge, strengthening the business sector, and empowering communities through the implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education.

 

The partnership also forms part of broader efforts to strengthen ties among academia, the business community, and society in building a more advanced, self-reliant, productive, and competitive Bogor Regency.
