Depok Establishes THR Monitoring Team Involving APINDO

Depok – The Depok City Manpower Office has formed a monitoring team to oversee the payment of Holiday Allowance (Tunjangan Hari Raya / THR) for employees working in companies across the city.

The monitoring team involves several stakeholders, including the Asosiasi Pengusaha Indonesia (APINDO) as well as representatives of labor unions in Depok.

The initiative aims to ensure that companies fulfill their obligations to pay THR to workers in accordance with existing regulations, particularly the Minister of Manpower Regulation No. 6 of 2016 on Religious Holiday Allowances for Workers in Companies.

“Following up on this, we will conduct monitoring to identify companies that may be violating workers’ rights. Based on last year’s experience, there were still several complaints related to delays or non-payment of THR,” said Depok Manpower Office Head Nessi Annisa Handari in a statement on Thursday (March 5, 2026).

The Depok Manpower Office has established four monitoring teams that will conduct on-site inspections of companies operating within the city.

Each team consists of representatives from labor unions, APINDO, the police, and officials from the Depok Manpower Office.

“We hope that through this monitoring process, companies will report their compliance and demonstrate their commitment to fulfilling workers’ rights, including timely THR payments,” Nessi added.
