Broto Suseno Elected to Lead DPP APINDO Bengkulu for 2026–2031 Term

BENGKULU – The Provincial Conference (Musyawarah Provinsi/Musprov) of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) Bengkulu, held at Bhadrika Mangrove Tourism Park on Saturday, July 25, 2026, officially elected Broto Suseno as Chairman of the Provincial Executive Board (DPP) of APINDO Bengkulu for the 2026–2031 term.
APINDO Deputy Chairman for Organizational Affairs, Muliawan Margadana, accompanied by APINDO Executive Director Rudolf, said Bengkulu has strong economic potential, particularly in its primary sectors. Based on 2025 data, the agricultural sector contributed significantly to the regional economy, accounting for 30.75 percent of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), while also serving as the largest source of employment, accounting for 46.61 percent of the workforce.
Muliawan also called on the newly elected leadership to embrace local values in carrying out the organization’s mandate.
“Let us embrace Sekundang Setungguan, Seiyo Sekato as our spirit to continue working together, collaborating, and growing together for the advancement of the business community,” Muliawan said.
Echoing the sentiment, Ali Sadikin, Head of Industrial Relations and Labor Inspection at the Bengkulu Provincial Office of Manpower and Transmigration, praised the theme of this year’s Provincial Conference, which focuses on integrity and competitiveness. He emphasized that APINDO is a strategic government partner in maintaining economic stability through harmonious industrial relations.
“The government cannot work alone. Support and collaboration from the business community, particularly APINDO, are essential to creating a healthy investment climate and expanding employment opportunities in Bengkulu Province,” he said.
As the newly elected chairman, Broto Suseno expressed his readiness to lead DPP APINDO Bengkulu in achieving ambitious targets over the next five years. He pledged to formulate strategic initiatives aligned with the theme, “Improving the Quality and Quantity of Bengkulu Entrepreneurs with Integrity and Good Character.”
His primary focus will be on ensuring that Bengkulu maintains a conducive business climate amid increasingly challenging economic dynamics.
“We will continue to work hard to realize social justice for the people of Bengkulu through a business ecosystem that supports inclusive and sustainable economic growth,” Broto Suseno said.
The Provincial Conference also agreed on a number of internal and external organizational agendas, including the election of Thomson as Chairman of the DPP APINDO Bengkulu Advisory Council.
The event was attended by representatives of all six DPKs across Bengkulu Province, APINDO corporate members, and invited guests.
