Arkhan Elected Chairman of APINDO Pesisir Barat

PESISIR BARAT, Lampung – The Pesisir Barat Regency Conference (Muskab) of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) was held smoothly, resulting in the unanimous election of Arkhan Yusuf Arrahman, SH., MH., as Chairman of the Pesisir Barat Regency Leadership Council (DPK APINDO) for the 2026–2031 term.

The Muskab, chaired by Mico Periyando, a representative of the APINDO Lampung Provincial Leadership Council (DPP), agreed to elect Arkhan after he emerged as the only candidate to meet all eligibility requirements.

“Since only one candidate met the requirements and all Muskab participants agreed to appoint Arkhan Yusuf Arrahman as Chairman of DPK APINDO Pesisir Barat for the 2026–2031 term, the Muskab proceedings are hereby declared concluded. In accordance with APINDO’s Articles of Association and Bylaws, the elected chairman will immediately proceed with forming a complete management structure,” Mico said on Monday, June 8, 2026.

Andrie Meri, Chairman of the APINDO Regency/City Muskab Organizing Committee, explained that all stages of the Muskab had been conducted in accordance with APINDO’s Articles of Association and Bylaws, from the registration of prospective candidates and verification of eligibility requirements to the election process.

“Of the three prospective candidates who registered, only one met the requirements. Therefore, the Muskab participants unanimously elected Arkhan as chairman,” he explained.

In his first remarks as chairman-elect, Arkhan Yusuf Arrahman expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all participants and the organizing committee for successfully conducting the Muskab.

“This is a very significant mandate. Therefore, cooperation and a spirit of mutual support are needed to implement and successfully carry out APINDO’s programs going forward,” he said.

Arkhan emphasized that the new APINDO Pesisir Barat management would build synergy with the Pesisir Barat Regency Government to promote regional economic growth, particularly through the development of the micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) sector and tourism.

According to him, both sectors have significant potential to become key drivers of the regional economy and improve community welfare.

“MSMEs and the tourism sector must become the main pillars for strengthening Pesisir Barat’s economy. Therefore, all stakeholders need to build synergy and collaborate to advance these sectors,” Arkhan concluded.
