Deli Serdang – The Indonesian Employers’ Association (Apindo) Deli Serdang, in collaboration with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), held a talk show with the Regent of Deli Serdang, Dr. H. Asri Ludin Tambunan, to discuss strategies for improving business productivity and strengthening collaboration among local entrepreneurs.
The event, themed “Youth Pledge for National Health and Productivity,” was held at Grha Bhinneka Perkasa Jaya on Thursday (October 9, 2025), and featured participants from Apindo, BPJS Employment, and various business sectors across Deli Serdang.
“Deli Serdang cannot be developed by the government alone. It requires the support, concern, and active participation of all stakeholders, including the business community and MSMEs. We need synergy among all parties to create new job opportunities, reduce unemployment, and enhance public welfare,” said Regent Asri Ludin Tambunan during the session.
He commended Apindo for initiating a program that combines social and health elements while engaging diverse segments of society.
“This activity truly reflects the spirit of collaboration between the business sector and the government in building community welfare,” he added.
The Regent also emphasized the importance for companies and business owners in Deli Serdang to join Apindo as a unified forum for communication and coordination with the local government.
“As regulators, we hope that entrepreneurs within Apindo will serve as equal partners and a single channel between the government and the private sector to grow their businesses and generate a positive impact on the community. Hopefully, this cooperation will yield meaningful results—showing that the government and entrepreneurs stand together to build this regency,” said Asri.
Meanwhile, Tetty Doloksaribu, Chairperson of Apindo Deli Serdang, expressed her appreciation for the continuous support from the Deli Serdang Regency Government, especially from Regent Asri Ludin Tambunan.
She highlighted the Regent’s enthusiasm and openness toward Apindo’s initiatives, noting his commitment to promoting MSME products.
“Today’s event aims to promote MSME products. We’re grateful that the Regent announced tax reductions for MSME players in 2026. He also promised to help market local products through regional enterprises (BUMD) and encourage government offices to use MSME snacks and products as souvenirs or official catering during events,” Tetty explained.
She also extended her gratitude to Putri Kumalasari, the event’s organizing chairperson, for her dedication and hard work in ensuring the success of the collaboration between Apindo Deli Serdang and local MSMEs.
