APINDO Chairwoman Pays Courtesy Visit to the Archbishop of Merauke

Merauke, December 15, 2025 — Chairwoman of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) Shinta W. Kamdani, accompanied by members of the APINDO leadership, paid a courtesy visit to the Archbishop of Merauke, Mgr. Petrus Canisius Mandagi, MSC, in a warm and cordial atmosphere in Merauke on Monday (15/12/2025).
The meeting was attended by APINDO Vice Chairmen Eddy Hussy and Sanny Iskandar, Chairman for MSMEs and Cooperatives Ronald Walla, Chairman for Organization Anthony Hilman, Chairman of DPP APINDO South Papua Herman Anitu Basik, Chairman of DPP APINDO Papua Moses A. Morin, and APINDO Executive Director Rudolf Saut.
The visit formed part of APINDO’s broader organizational consolidation efforts in Eastern Indonesia, while also reaffirming the commitment of the business community to be present and grow together with the people of South Papua.
On the occasion, Shinta conveyed that APINDO South Papua has been officially established as a platform for local entrepreneurs to collaborate, strengthen the regional economy, and promote inclusive development.
During the open and cordial dialogue, Shinta W. Kamdani expressed her respects and sought prayers, blessings, and moral support from the Archbishop of Merauke for the continued presence and sustainability of APINDO in South Papua.
The meeting also featured an in-depth discussion on humanitarian issues and social developments in Merauke, including the challenges and aspirations surrounding the development process in South Papua.
