DPP APINDO South Kalimantan and BRI Host Business Gathering

BANJARMASIN – Themed “Synergy Between Business Players and Banking to Advance Regional Economic Growth,” the Business Gathering hosted by the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) South Kalimantan and Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) took place at the Aria Barito Hotel, Banjarmasin, on Saturday (September 27, 2025).
The event brought together hundreds of business owners from various sectors, banking representatives, and regional stakeholders.
In his opening remarks, APINDO South Kalimantan Chairman H. Winardi Sethiono highlighted the importance of strategic collaboration between the business community and the banking sector.
“This synergy is key to strengthening regional economic resilience while creating growth opportunities for businesses amid global challenges,” Winardi stated.
He further expressed hope that the event would serve as a platform for networking and for entrepreneurs to voice their aspirations. “With the support of banks, particularly BRI, business owners in South Kalimantan can gain easier access to financing, mentoring, and tailored financial solutions to develop their businesses,” he added.
Winardi also emphasized APINDO Kalsel’s readiness to be a strategic partner to both government and banking institutions in driving the real sector. “We encourage all business players not to hesitate in innovating and utilizing the facilities provided by financial institutions,” he said.
BRI Region 14 Banjarmasin Head, Novian Supriatno, reaffirmed BRI’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurs, particularly MSMEs.
“Inclusive financing programs, service digitalization, and business mentoring are all part of BRI’s strategy to stimulate regional economic growth. BRI is not just a banking service provider but a partner in business development. We want entrepreneurs in South Kalimantan to move up the value chain, become more competitive, and contribute more significantly to regional economic development,” Novian explained.
The Business Gathering also featured interactive discussions, banking consultations, and business matching sessions between entrepreneurs and BRI representatives.
Participants welcomed the initiative, noting that it offered opportunities to expand business networks and gain a deeper understanding of financing access and business prospects.
Winardi expressed confidence that this event would help build a healthy, resilient business ecosystem capable of working hand in hand with the banking sector to realize South Kalimantan’s vision for an advanced, competitive, and inclusive economy.
