APINDO Karawang Member Gathering Strengthens Synergy Between the Business Sector and Local Government

KARAWANG – The Karawang Regency Board of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) held a Member Gathering as a forum for networking, strengthening synergy, and enhancing members’ understanding of banking and labor issues. The event took place at the Ballroom of Mercure Karawang on Wednesday (January 28, 2026).

In addition to serving as a communication platform among members, the APINDO Karawang Regency Board used the Member Gathering to reaffirm the role of the business sector in supporting regional development through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.

On the occasion, APINDO Karawang symbolically handed over assistance for five units of uninhabitable housing (Rumah Tidak Layak Huni/Rutilahu) to the Karawang Regency Government.

The Rutilahu assistance was distributed to communities in several areas, namely Purwadana Village, Telukjambe Timur Subdistrict; Medankarya Village, Tirtajaya Subdistrict; Pangulah Selatan Village and Sarimulya Village, Kotabaru Subdistrict; as well as Karawang Subdistrict, Karawang Timur.

In his remarks, Karawang Regent H. Aep Syaepuloh, S.E., expressed his appreciation for APINDO Karawang’s contribution in supporting local government programs, particularly efforts to improve housing quality and community welfare through the Rutilahu program.

“The handover of this assistance reflects the concern and tangible contribution of APINDO Karawang in supporting the Karawang Regency Government’s programs to improve housing quality and community welfare,” Regent Aep said.

The Regent also noted that the Karawang Regency Government has set a target to build 2,700 units of Rutilahu in 2026 for residents of Karawang.

“The Karawang Regency Government will realize the construction of approximately 2,700 units of uninhabitable housing in 2026,” he added.

Through this Member Gathering, APINDO Karawang and the Karawang Regency Government hope to further strengthen collaboration among the business sector, banking institutions, and local government, while fostering a conducive and sustainable business climate in Karawang Regency.
