NTT Delegation Attends APINDO 2026 National Working and Consultation Meeting, Strengthens Investment and Business Networks

The Provincial Executive Board (DPP) of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) took part in the 35th APINDO National Working and Consultation Meeting (Rakerkonas) 2026, held in Makassar, South Sulawesi, from August 3–5, 2026. This was stated in a press release received by RRI.CO.ID via WhatsApp from Deputy Chairman of APINDO NTT H. Fahmi H. Abdullahi, S.E., on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

The APINDO NTT delegation was led by Chairman Bobby Pitoby, accompanied by Deputy Chairman Fahmi H. Abdullahi and Secretary-General Toni Dima, along with other members of the provincial leadership. The delegation’s participation reflected APINDO NTT’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with the national business community while expanding investment and partnership opportunities to support economic development in East Nusa Tenggara.

The 35th APINDO National Working and Consultation Meeting carried the theme “National Economic Resilience: The Role of Indonesian Entrepreneurs Amid Global Fragmentation.” The forum was one of Indonesia’s major business community gatherings, bringing together government officials, business leaders, and international partners to formulate strategic measures in response to global economic challenges.

The event was attended by six Cabinet ministers, four ambassadors from friendly countries, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR RI), and more than 600 APINDO delegates from across Indonesia. The participation of these stakeholders underscored the strong commitment to strengthening cooperation among the government, business community, and international partners to promote investment, industrial competitiveness, and national economic growth.

Deputy Chairman of APINDO NTT Fahmi H. Abdullahi said the NTT delegation actively participated in various strategic sessions throughout the meeting, including plenary sessions, economic policy discussions, business matching, networking sessions, and the APINDO MSME & Business Investment Expo.

“These various activities provided valuable opportunities to expand business networks, exchange experiences, and explore potential partnerships across regions as well as with investors,” said Fahmi, who is also CEO of Jabal Group.

Fahmi added that APINDO NTT’s participation in the national forum was an important step toward bringing the province’s economic potential to the national stage.

“Rakerkonas is not merely a forum for organizational consolidation, but also an opportunity to introduce East Nusa Tenggara’s investment potential to national and international business communities. We want to ensure that NTT becomes part of Indonesia’s increasingly competitive investment landscape,” Fahmi said.

Echoing the statement, APINDO NTT Chairman Bobby Pitoby emphasized that the outcomes of the National Working and Consultation Meeting would serve as a reference for APINDO NTT in strengthening the role of the business community in the region, particularly in promoting MSME development, increasing investment, creating employment opportunities, and strengthening the people-centered economy.

Through its participation in the 35th APINDO National Working and Consultation Meeting 2026, APINDO NTT hopes to expand strategic networks, enhance the competitiveness of local businesses, and establish concrete collaborations capable of accelerating economic growth and improving the welfare of the people of East Nusa Tenggara.
