APINDO Strengthens Banten’s Vocational Education Through Governor’s Visit to Mitra Industri Vocational School

BEKASI — The Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) Banten invited Banten Governor Andra Soni to visit Mitra Industri Vocational School (SMK Mitra Industri MM2100) in West Cikarang, West Java, on Wednesday (November 12, 2025). The visit marked a concrete step in strengthening vocational education aligned with industrial needs in the province.
Governor Andra Soni expressed his appreciation for APINDO Banten’s efforts in bridging the education and employment sectors. He noted that SMK Mitra Industri MM2100 serves as a successful example of implementing the link and match concept between schools and industries.
“Alhamdulillah, this school truly applies an education system that aligns with the needs of the job market, as it is directly managed by the industry,” Andra remarked.
Chairman of APINDO Banten, Tomy Rachmatullah, stated that the visit is expected to become a momentum for expanding collaboration between the business sector and the education sector in Banten. Such partnerships, he continued, represent an ideal model for preparing competent human resources capable of meeting industrial challenges.
The event was also attended by several officials from the Banten Provincial Government and Chairman of the Mitra Industri Foundation, Darwoto.
