APINDO–STAH Dharma Sentana Strengthen Education–Industry Link and Match

PALU – The Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) Central Sulawesi has formalized a strategic partnership with STAH Dharma Sentana through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday (April 6, 2026), aimed at strengthening the alignment between education and industry.

The collaboration, which also involves the Karuna Dipa Foundation, focuses on the development of education, research, and human resources (HR), while supporting the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The scope of cooperation includes training, research, community service, human resource capacity building, as well as internship programs and student exchanges.

As part of the initial implementation, APINDO will provide internship opportunities within its member companies, particularly for students of the Hindu Economics Study Program. Meanwhile, STAH Dharma Sentana will contribute through academic support and curriculum enhancement, including the development of a Cultural Tourism Study Program.

On the other hand, the Karuna Dipa Foundation will serve as a partner in facilitating certified internships and practicum programs for students of Early Childhood Education (PGPAUD) and Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) within its educational institutions.

Chairman of DPP APINDO Central Sulawesi, Wijaya Chandra, described the collaboration as a strategic step in preparing human resources that are aligned with industry needs.

“This collaboration is crucial to ensure that the younger generation possesses competencies that match industry demands,” he said.

Meanwhile, STAH Dharma Sentana representative Ni Putu Mahyoni emphasized that the partnership will enhance graduates’ readiness to enter the workforce through practical experience and a more adaptive curriculum.

The collaboration is expected to go beyond formalities and foster sustainable integration between academic learning and industry requirements.
