APINDO UMKM & DSC Collaboration
In this 15th year, APINDO UMKM supports DSC in preparing business capital grants with a total grant of IDR 2.5 billion for entrepreneurs.
Increasingly focused on entrepreneurs who care about environmental, social, and sustainable governance issues, DSC Season 15 is oriented towards supporting skills development, effective business strategies, and providing business networks to participants.
DSC becomes a support system between stakeholders who want to synergize and network to take advantage of greater opportunities through Environment, Social & Governance (ESG)-based business practices.
"The principle of sustainability in ESG broadens the meaning that business success is not only about profit, but also how business actors can contribute to the wider community, which can ultimately achieve shared success," said Founding Father and Chairman of Dekom DSC, Surjanto Yasaputera at the kick-off event and official launch of DSC Season 15 with the theme Together Achieving Success in Jakarta, Thursday, May 20, 2024.
In this 15th season, DSC is prioritizing activation programs with entrepreneur communities as an effort to reach a wider audience. In addition, DSC Season 15 will also collaborate again with the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) in preparing a showcase event for Indonesian entrepreneurs.
In this season, DSC is also paying attention to the issue of the blue economy, such as the sustainable use of marine resources to support economic growth and improve welfare and preserve marine ecosystems.
Through this commitment, entrepreneurs are expected to be able to utilize the potential of the sea inclusively so that they can contribute to economic growth in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, President Director of PT Wismilak Inti Makmur and Head of UMKM APINDO, Ronald Walla revealed that in the 15 years that the DSC program has been held, the program has produced more than 120,000 business proposals, with grant funds provided of more than IDR 3,005 billion.
"And we already have a community, where we have collaborated with more than 100 communities and associations. These are all the keys to our mutual success, and of course these are all our structures and cultures that we collaborate with APINDO and others," explained Ronald.
The initial moment of opening registration this time is also an affirmation of DSC as a pioneer of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Indonesia that remains consistent and persistent in creating entrepreneurs with character.
DSC Season 15 comes with a series of programs that are rich in synergy and collaboration of many parties to present programs that are useful and have a real impact on entrepreneurs.
