APINDO Central Kalimantan Holds Green Jobs Socialization at STMIK Palangkaraya

Palangka Raya, March 22, 2025 – The Indonesian Employers' Association (APINDO) Central Kalimantan held a socialization event themed Green Jobs: Unlocking Opportunities for Indonesia’s Economic Transformation at the STMIK Palangkaraya Auditorium on Saturday, March 22, 2025. The event, which took place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM WIB, was attended by STMIK Palangkaraya students as participants.
The event was officially opened by the Vice Chair for Student Affairs and External Relations at STMIK Palangkaraya, Dr. Maura Widyaningsih, S.Kom., M.Cs., who, in her speech, emphasized the importance of students understanding job opportunities in the green economy sector. Following this, the Chairman of APINDO Central Kalimantan, Mr. Frans Martinus, S.E., delivered a speech highlighting that the collaboration between APINDO and STMIK Palangkaraya would not stop at this event but would continue to develop in various other forms of cooperation.
As a concrete step in this collaboration, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between STMIK Palangkaraya and APINDO Central Kalimantan. This signing marked the commitment of both parties to supporting the development of human resources prepared to face future industrial challenges.
Following the signing, the event continued with a presentation by Mr. Robertus Robby Julianto S., S.T., who discussed various aspects of Green Jobs, including opportunities and challenges in the transition to a sustainability-based economy. Students were highly enthusiastic about the session and actively participated in the Q&A session that concluded the socialization event.
In the closing remarks, Dr. Maura Widyaningsih, S.Kom., M.Cs., encouraged students to keep learning and seeking opportunities to develop themselves in facing the green economy era. She expressed her hope that this event would broaden students' perspectives on Green Jobs and motivate them to take an active role in Indonesia’s economic transformation.
With the successful implementation of this socialization event, it is hoped that students will gain a deeper understanding of their crucial role in creating a more sustainable future and making the most of opportunities in the Green Jobs sector.
