Apindo Sleman and Local Government Strengthen Collaboration, Regent Harda Listens to Business Community’s Aspirations

Sleman – Recognizing the vital role of entrepreneurs in sustaining economic growth, the Sleman Regency Government held a dialogue forum with the Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo) Sleman. During the event, Sleman Regent Harda Kiswaya reaffirmed his commitment to listening to the aspirations of business actors and preparing joint steps to address labor-related challenges.

The dialogue, held at the Regent’s Official Residence Pavilion on Wednesday (October 1, 2025), was attended by business players from various sectors, ranging from micro enterprises to large corporations. In addition to Apindo Sleman, the event was also attended by representatives from BPJS Employment, BPJS Health, and several regional government agencies such as DPMPTSP, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Cooperatives and SMEs, and Bappeda.

Head of Sleman’s Manpower Office, Epiphana Kristiyani, stated that the forum invited 100 companies representing different types and scales of businesses. The goal was to ensure that the voice of the business community could be directly conveyed to the local government.

In his remarks, Regent Harda Kiswaya emphasized the importance of synergy between the government and the business sector. He described entrepreneurs as the driving force of the economy and a key contributor to employment absorption.

“Through Apindo, the government can bridge the needs of the business community and ensure effective communication. We are committed to providing the best services for the people while supporting the economic drivers of the region in line with applicable regulations,” said Harda.

The interactive dialogue served as a momentum to strengthen relations between the government and the business community, with the hope of fostering a more conducive and sustainable business climate in Sleman.
