BANDAR LAMPUNG, June 22, 2026 – The Lampung Provincial Board of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) successfully convened its 8th Provincial Conference (Musprov VIII) at the Ballroom of Emerisia Hotel & Resort, Bandar Lampung. The organization’s highest provincial-level forum officially re-elected Ary Meizari Alfian, S.E., M.B.A. as Chairman of APINDO Lampung for the 2026–2031 term.
Anthony Hilman, Chairman for Organizational Affairs of APINDO’s National Board (DPN APINDO), commended the achievements of APINDO Lampung and underscored the importance of strengthening collaboration among the business community, government, and all stakeholders in responding to the dynamics of the global economy. He emphasized that the spirit of Indonesia Incorporated must ensure that public policies effectively address the real challenges faced by businesses on the ground.
“Lampung’s economic performance has shown a positive trend, with growth reaching 5.28 percent in 2025, up from 4.57 percent in 2024,” he stated. He further noted that APINDO’s National Board would continue supporting regional development through various national initiatives, including the Task Force Debottlenecking program aimed at helping businesses overcome operational and regulatory obstacles.
Lampung Governor Rahmat Mirzani Djausal also expressed appreciation for APINDO Lampung’s contribution to regional economic growth, particularly through the strengthening of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). According to the Governor, Musprov VIII was not merely an electoral forum for organizational leadership, but also a strategic platform to formulate the direction of business development in Lampung for the next five years and to reinforce APINDO’s role as a strategic partner of government.
The Governor further highlighted Lampung’s economic achievements, noting that the province recorded 5.28 percent growth in 2025—the highest since the pandemic and above both the Sumatra regional average and the national average. This growth was supported by leading commodities, with Lampung ranking first nationally in cassava and pineapple production, while both foreign direct investment (FDI) and domestic investment realization increased by 57.25 percent.
Meanwhile, APINDO Lampung Chairman Ary Meizari Alfian called on all conference participants to use Musprov VIII as an opportunity for reflection and the formulation of future strategic organizational initiatives. He stressed that APINDO Lampung’s accomplishments during the 2021–2026 period were the result of collective efforts by members and stakeholders, particularly in navigating the challenges posed by the pandemic.
“Today is not merely a forum for leadership accountability; it is also a moment of reflection and a starting point for charting greater steps toward the future of the business community in Lampung Province,” he said.
He added that collaboration, adaptability, and innovation would remain critical factors in addressing future challenges, in line with the theme of Musprov VIII: “With the Spirit of Indonesia Incorporated, Strong Businesses, Advanced Lampung, Golden Indonesia.”
In addition to electing the new leadership, Musprov VIII produced a number of strategic organizational recommendations, both internal and external in nature. The conference also elected Ardiansyah, S.H. as Chairman of the Advisory Council and presented awards to 20 member companies and Extraordinary Members (ALB) in recognition of their contributions to the development of the business sector.
The event was also attended by Lampung Provincial Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) Chairman Giri Akbar, members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), and senior officials from relevant provincial government agencies.
