Kampar Regent: APINDO Is a Strategic Government Partner in Promoting Regional Economic Growth

KAMPAR – Kampar Regent Ahmad Yuzar, S.Sos., M.T., received a delegation from the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) of Riau Province at the Kampar Regent’s Official Residence on Friday (August 7, 2026).

 

The meeting was attended by APINDO Riau Secretary-General Elwan Jumandri, S.H., M.H., who also serves as Chairman of the Kampar Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Forum. Kampar Regional Secretary Dr. Ardi Mardiansyah, S.STP., M.Si., also accompanied the Regent during the meeting.

 

Held in a cordial atmosphere, the meeting discussed plans to establish the Kampar Regency Executive Board (DPK APINDO) as an organization that can strengthen synergy among the business community, local government, and workers.

 

Kampar Regent Ahmad Yuzar welcomed the initiative to establish APINDO’s leadership structure in Kampar Regency. He said the presence of APINDO at the regency level is expected to serve as a strategic partner for the Kampar Regency Government in promoting regional economic growth, creating a conducive investment climate, and strengthening harmonious industrial relations.

 

“We hope that the APINDO Kampar Regency leadership to be established will become an organization capable of making a tangible contribution to the advancement of local businesses, improving workers’ welfare, and serving as a strategic partner of the local government in supporting the development of Kampar Regency,” Ahmad Yuzar said.

 

The Regent further emphasized that synergy among the government, business community, and society is one of the keys to achieving sustainable development.

 

Therefore, he said, collaboration facilitated through APINDO is expected to generate various programs that deliver a positive and tangible impact for the wider community.
