Governor of Lampung Invites Apindo to Support Economic and Educational Growth

Bandarlampung – The Governor of Lampung, Rahmat Mirzani Djausal, and Deputy Governor Jihan Nurlela attended a gathering and iftar event with entrepreneurs from the Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo) and volunteers from Sedulur Mirzani Nusantara at the Darmajaya Institute of Informatics and Business (IIB) campus in Bandar Lampung on Saturday (March 15, 2025).

On this occasion, Governor Mirza called on all parties to support the success of the first 100-day program of the Mirza-Jihan administration. He emphasized the importance of backing from the business sector and volunteers in driving economic growth and sustainable development in Lampung Province.

As a government partner, Governor Mirza hopes that Sedulur Mirzani Nusantara can serve as a bridge between the community and the government, conveying public aspirations and providing constructive input to ensure that policies align with the needs of the people.

In his speech, Governor Mirza reiterated his commitment to infrastructure development in Lampung. He set a target for significant road improvements across the province within the next two to three years.

"My hope for Sedulur Mirza in the future is for this organization to become a solid force in supporting Lampung’s economy over the next five years," Mirza stated.

Additionally, he expressed his appreciation for Apindo’s role and support in fostering regional economic growth. According to him, the business sector plays a crucial role in improving public welfare and creating job opportunities.

"The government cannot boost economic growth without the support of the business sector," he stressed.

Beyond infrastructure and the economy, Governor Mirza also places great emphasis on the education sector. He hopes that Apindo will allocate its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds to support schools in Lampung.

"Focus CSR assistance on enhancing the quality of education for our students. Help them so that high school and vocational school graduates acquire the necessary skills and meet job market qualifications," Mirza urged.
