Apindo Deli Serdang Distributes 1,000 Takjil Packages to Industrial Workers Over Three Days

Deli Serdang – The Regency Leadership Council of the Indonesian Employers' Association (DPKab Apindo) Deli Serdang carried out a social action by distributing takjil packages over three days during Ramadan 2025.
Apindo officials and members took to the streets to distribute takjil packages, which were made by local MSMEs and processed using various industrial products from Deli Serdang.
Pratiwi, Deputy Chairperson for CSR Affairs at Apindo Deli Serdang, stated that this takjil-sharing initiative is part of Apindo Deli Serdang's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
"A few months ago, we allocated our CSR program to flood victims in Tanjung Morawa and Patumbak Districts. This time, we are embracing the blessings of the holy month of Ramadan by distributing one thousand takjil packages to the community over three days in three different locations," Pratiwi told medanbisnisdaily.com on Monday, March 24, 2025, in the KIM Star Tanjung Morawa industrial area.
The takjil distribution by Apindo Deli Serdang began on Tuesday, March 18, at KIM Sunggal, followed by distribution in front of the KIM Mabar gate on Thursday, March 20. The final distribution took place on Monday, March 24, in front of the KIM Star Tanjung Morawa gate.
"Our primary target is company employees. That is why the takjil distribution took place at three locations, all positioned right in front of industrial area gates and during employee dismissal hours," Pratiwi explained.
She further stated that Indra Siregar, who was appointed as Chairman of Apindo Deli Serdang for the 2024-2029 period, had initially launched the CSR program to aid flood victims. Entering Ramadan, he planned programs for takjil distribution and a bazaar for MSMEs.
"Unfortunately, the MSME bazaar could not be realized, as our Chairman, Bang Indra Siregar, has passed away. Apindo Deli Serdang is currently in mourning. This takjil distribution is a continuation of his legacy, which we hope will be recorded as a good deed for him. We all pray that the late Chairman is granted the best place in the sight of God. Amen," Pratiwi said.
