Strengthening Internal Consolidation, APINDO Holds Town Hall Meeting with All Provincial Boards Nationwide

The Asosiasi Pengusaha Indonesia (APINDO) held a Town Hall Meeting bringing together the National Board (DPN) and all Provincial Boards (DPP) from across Indonesia on Thursday (March 12, 2026).

The strategic meeting was conducted in a hybrid format via Zoom, aiming to strengthen internal consolidation and align the organization’s policy direction as it enters the latter half of the 2023–2028 leadership period. The event marked the first town hall meeting of 2026 and served as the opening session in a series of town halls planned to be held regularly every quarter.

APINDO Chairwoman Shinta W. Kamdani emphasized that 2026 represents a crucial momentum for accelerating the organization’s strategic agenda so that it can deliver more measurable impacts for the business community and the wider public. During the forum, participants discussed a range of key issues, including updates on the national economic outlook amid global geopolitical pressures and the monitoring of the 2026 minimum wage policy.

APINDO also highlighted the importance of stronger collaboration between the business sector and the government, reinforced through regular meetings with the President of Indonesia to discuss improvements in the business climate and legal certainty. As part of its forward-looking strategy, the organization continues to advance several flagship initiatives such as UMKM Merdeka, Gerakan Anak Sehat – Kolaborasi Inklusif Pengusaha Indonesia Atasi Stunting (GAS-KIPAS), as well as new initiatives including the establishment of an APINDO Investment Unit and a Family Business Network to strengthen regional business ecosystems. Additionally, APINDO has introduced a dedicated hotline service for members to report business obstacles in the field, enabling more effective debottlenecking processes.
