Rian Eka Putra Officially Appointed to Lead APINDO Pariaman for 2026–2031 Term

PADANG — The leadership transition of the City Board (DPK) of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) in Pariaman has officially commenced, with Rian Eka Putra inaugurated as Chair for the 2026–2031 term. The inauguration was conducted by APINDO West Sumatra Chair Rina Pangeran on Thursday (April 23, 2026).

The ceremony took place alongside the opening of the 2026 APINDO West Sumatra Provincial Working Meeting (Rakerprov) at Sati Hall, Pangeran Beach Hotel, Padang. The event was attended by West Sumatra Governor Mahyeldi Ansharullah, who formally opened the meeting.

In addition to Pariaman, APINDO West Sumatra also confirmed leadership structures in three other regions—Padang Panjang, Tanah Datar, and West Pasaman—aimed at strengthening business sector synergy across the province.

In leading the organization over the next five years, Rian will be supported by a core executive team, including Muslim as Secretary and Romi Rusli as Treasurer.

Rian emphasized that the inauguration should serve as a momentum to foster a conducive investment climate. He pledged to build strategic partnerships with the regional government to drive inclusive economic growth.

“Our immediate priority is to complete the organizational structure, followed by a working meeting to formulate strategic programs,” Rian said after the inauguration.

He added that upcoming programs will prioritize MSME development, in line with directives from APINDO’s national leadership, as part of efforts to expand local employment opportunities in Pariaman.

“Beyond economic strengthening, we also highlight the importance of synergy with the education sector. We propose integrating education with the labor market as a new initiative aligned with the Pariaman City Government’s vision to reduce unemployment,” said Rian, who also serves as Chair of the Attin Islamic Foundation.

On the same occasion, Governor Mahyeldi expressed hope that the newly appointed leadership would move swiftly, support downstream industrialization, and reduce unemployment through concrete collaboration between APINDO and the regional government.
