WINARDI INAUGURATES PUTRI GALUH AS CHAIR OF APINDO TAPIN DISTRICT BOARD

South Kalimantan – Winardi Sethiono, Chair of the South Kalimantan Provincial Board of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO), officially inaugurated Hj. Putri Galuh Randa as Chair of the APINDO Tapin District Board (DPK APINDO Tapin) for the 2026–2031 term during a ceremony held at the Tamasa Hall of the Tapin Regional Government Secretariat on Thursday (July 9, 2026).

In forming the new board, Putri Galuh appointed a number of young entrepreneurs to serve in the leadership of DPK APINDO Tapin. She expressed optimism that the new management would help stimulate business activity and contribute to economic growth in Tapin Regency.

Speaking after the inauguration, Putri Galuh emphasized the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders to strengthen APINDO in carrying out its mission, particularly in creating employment opportunities through business expansion and investment.

"APINDO cannot work alone. We need the support of the government and all stakeholders so that Tapin's economy can continue to grow and become more competitive," she said.

Meanwhile, Winardi Sethiono delivered several key messages to the newly inaugurated board and the Tapin Regency Government. He noted that amid current economic challenges, entrepreneurs must remain united through a credible and well-established business association with a strong national network—APINDO.

He stressed that APINDO is fundamentally different from other business organizations.

"APINDO is not a place for distributing projects. It is a platform where entrepreneurs unite, strengthen solidarity, and advocate for the interests of the business community," he said.

Winardi explained that APINDO's primary focus is on business advocacy and fostering harmonious industrial relations based on the values of Pancasila. He added that APINDO plays a strategic role in generating employment opportunities and promoting economic growth.

"When businesses are able to operate and expand freely, employment opportunities increase, and economic growth naturally follows. This strategic role places APINDO alongside the government as a key partner in national development and in enhancing Indonesia's competitiveness in the global economy," he said.

Winardi also called on the Regent of Tapin to actively involve DPK APINDO Tapin in regional economic development and provide the organization with sufficient space to grow and strengthen its membership.

He encouraged the regional government to recognize APINDO as a strategic partner in formulating economic policies and regulations that create a more conducive business climate and support investment and job creation.

Finally, Winardi expressed his appreciation for Hj. Putri Galuh Randa's willingness to take on the leadership role as a female entrepreneur.

He said that, given her experience and track record, she is well positioned to bring together and empower fellow entrepreneurs to achieve shared progress.

"I firmly believe that when entrepreneurs stand united, Tapin—and indeed Indonesia—will move forward," Winardi concluded. (fk/ksl)
