APINDO Serang Regency Leadership for 2025–2030 Officially Inaugurated, Focus on Collaboration and Breakthroughs

Serang – The Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) in Serang Regency has officially inaugurated its new leadership, now chaired by Agus Supriadi.

The Serang Regency Board of APINDO (DPK APINDO Serang) for the 2025–2030 period was formally confirmed alongside its first working meeting on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Le Dian Hotel, Serang.

Carrying the theme “APINDO Strengthening Synergy, Improving Performance, Enhancing Competitiveness for Equitable Prosperity”, the event was attended by Serang Deputy Regent Najib Hamas, Assistant Regional Secretary I Haryanto, Head of the Serang Regency Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnakertrans) Diana, representatives of APINDO Banten Provincial Board, and various stakeholders.

In his report, Organizing Committee Chair Dudi Iskandar highlighted several critical issues to be addressed, ranging from the 2026 wage policy soon to be determined, to concerns over radioactive material findings in the Cikande Modern Industrial Estate.

“If this issue becomes negative, it could disrupt company operations in the area. That’s a key concern for us,” said Dudi.

He also emphasized the high unemployment rate and the rising cases of layoffs.

“These issues must be thoroughly discussed at the working meeting, as they require immediate solutions,” he stressed.

Following his inauguration, DPK APINDO Serang Chair Agus Supriadi underscored the importance of sustainability before the stakeholders present.
“I urge my fellow board members to prioritize sustainability. It is vital for the continuity of our businesses,” Agus said.

He reaffirmed that the new leadership is ready to move forward with synergized work programs.

“Our stakeholders are business owners, the government, and labor associations. We will explore collaborative customer value that benefits all,” he noted.

Agus added that entrepreneurs in Serang are eager to grow, yet global dynamics demand attention not only to microeconomic factors but also to macroeconomic conditions. Hence, collaboration with local government, particularly the Manpower Office, is crucial to finding innovative breakthroughs that benefit society.

“We believe that by working closely with the government through the manpower office, which has a strong connection to the business community, we can create meaningful breakthroughs that represent public interests,” he emphasized.

APINDO Banten Provincial Chair, Tomy Rachmatulloh, congratulated the newly appointed board, expressing hope that DPK APINDO Serang will fulfill its mandate and strengthen collaboration with the government, employers, and workers.

“Without this tripartite collaboration, the public’s hope for Serang’s economy to improve and advance will be difficult to achieve,” Tomy stated.

Representing the Regent, Deputy Regent Najib Hamas also conveyed his appreciation, noting APINDO’s tangible contributions in supporting investment and strengthening the local economy.

“In the future, we expect even stronger synergy so that APINDO continues to thrive and its members succeed in their respective fields,” Najib said.

In his address, he also highlighted three major challenges APINDO must tackle: institutional strengthening, capacity building, and network development.

“The current investment and economic climate is uncertain. Therefore, the business sector must reinforce its institutions, capacities, and networks,” he remarked.
