Apindo Aceh to Engage Local Businesses in 2025 Internship Program

Aceh — The Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo) Aceh has pledged full support for the 2025 Higher Education Graduate Internship Program initiated by the Aceh Office of Manpower and Population Mobility in collaboration with the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia. This endorsement underscores the business community’s commitment to strengthening the synergy between the education sector and industry in Aceh.

Zulmahdi Hasan, S.Ag., M.H., Secretary of Apindo Aceh’s Regional Executive Board, affirmed the organization’s readiness to actively contribute to the success of the government’s strategic initiative. He urged all companies across Aceh to open internship opportunities for fresh graduates through the official platform provided by the Ministry of Manpower.

“This program is a crucial step toward enhancing the competence and competitiveness of Aceh’s young workforce. We call on all entrepreneurs to offer valuable work experience to graduates, thereby reinforcing the collaboration between business and education,” Zulmahdi stated in Banda Aceh on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

He further encouraged companies to register internship opportunities via the official portal at https://maganghub.kemnaker.go.id, emphasizing that adherence to the mechanisms set by the Ministry would ensure the program’s implementation aligns with national standards.

“The involvement of the business sector in this program not only supports the improvement of human resource quality but also reflects corporate social responsibility in shaping a productive and competitive workforce,” he added.

Apindo Aceh views collaboration between government and private sector as essential to building a healthy employment ecosystem. The internship program is expected to serve as a practical learning platform for graduates, preparing them to meet real-world workplace challenges.

“Internships are not merely training sessions; they are contextual learning processes that allow participants to grasp industry culture, work ethics, and operational dynamics firsthand,” Zulmahdi explained.

He also noted that Apindo will continue coordinating with the Aceh Office of Manpower, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), and higher education institutions to ensure optimal implementation of the program. These efforts align with Apindo’s vision to strengthen the role of business as a strategic partner to the government.

In closing, Zulmahdi Hasan reaffirmed Apindo Aceh’s commitment to sustaining the program beyond ceremonial participation.

“We aim to ensure that this internship initiative delivers tangible benefits—both for companies seeking potential talent and for graduates gaining professional experience to support their future careers,” he concluded.
