SOUTH LAMPUNG — The Regency Conference (Muskab) of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) South Lampung was officially held at Grand Elty, Merak Belantung Village, Kalianda District, on Wednesday (April 29, 2026).

The event marked an important momentum for the business community in determining the organization’s leadership direction for the 2026–2031 term.

Acting Chair of APINDO South Lampung, Hermando, expressed appreciation to the organizing committee for successfully conducting the event.

“Thank you to the committee for their hard work in organizing this event so that it could proceed smoothly and successfully,” Hermando said.

He also expressed hope that the conference would produce a solid leadership team capable of strengthening APINDO South Lampung’s contribution to regional development.

Meanwhile, Lampung Provincial APINDO representative Junaidi emphasized that APINDO’s presence in society must deliver tangible benefits, particularly in encouraging economic growth.

He highlighted the importance of unity within the organization, noting that whoever is elected as chair represents the best choice of the membership.

“Whoever is elected is the best candidate. Those who were not elected are not lacking in quality, as everyone has the capacity. We from the provincial board fully support the outcome of this conference,” Junaidi stated.

He also expressed appreciation to previous administrators who had dedicated their time, energy, ideas, and even financial resources for the advancement of the organization, noting that leadership within a business association requires strong commitment.

Junaidi further urged the newly elected chair to strengthen communication with the regional government and business stakeholders in South Lampung, stressing that strong synergy is essential to driving regional economic growth.

“APINDO must work in synergy with the regional government, including the regent, as well as all business actors. Through togetherness, we can build a better South Lampung,” he said.

Based on observations at the venue, the chairmanship election was conducted by acclamation. M. Fikry Suryapasya was unanimously elected as Chair of APINDO South Lampung for the 2026–2031 term, accompanied by Muhammad Juandri Hasan as Secretary.

Representatives from several companies also attended and participated in the conference, including PT Natura Pariza Aromah, PT Jaga Kongkrit Indonesia, PT Domus, PT Terong Fafa Indonesia, PT Coca-Cola, PT Samudra Intan Tapioka, and PT Cahaya Murni Indo Lampung.

Following his election, M. Fikry Suryapasya expressed his commitment to making APINDO South Lampung a more active organization with a stronger role in regional economic development. He also emphasized APINDO’s role in overseeing labor policies, including minimum wage regulations.

Fikry explained that one of APINDO’s key objectives is to participate in discussions surrounding Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) and Regional Minimum Wage (UMR) policies to ensure a balanced approach between business interests and worker welfare.

In addition, he conveyed full support for the programs of the South Lampung Regency Government under the leadership of Regent Radityo Egi Pratama.

“We will support the regional government’s programs and are ready to collaborate in advancing South Lampung,” Fikry stated.

With the election of the new leadership, APINDO South Lampung is expected to become more solid, innovative, and effective as a platform for business actors to contribute to sustainable regional economic development.
