Palu – The Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Central Sulawesi (Kanwil Kemenkum Sulteng) continues to strengthen cross-sectoral collaboration to deliver inclusive legal services and foster a healthy business climate.
One such effort was reflected in a meeting with the Indonesian Employers’ Association (APINDO) of Central Sulawesi, held at the Nationality Hall of Kanwil Kemenkum Sulteng on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
The Head of the Regional Office, Rakhmat Renaldy, accompanied by Division Heads and administrative officials, welcomed Wijaya Chandra, Chair of APINDO Central Sulawesi, along with other members of the association's leadership.
The meeting explored strategic collaboration opportunities between the Ministry and APINDO to provide legal protection and services for entrepreneurs and to strengthen the private sector's contribution to regional development.
Rakhmat Renaldy expressed his appreciation for APINDO’s initiative in establishing constructive communication with the Ministry. He emphasized the importance of legal protection as a fundamental component of business development.
"We warmly welcome this visit as a shared commitment to realizing tangible legal protection for local entrepreneurs. Business actors are the driving force of regional development and deserve solid legal safeguards — from business entity legality and intellectual property rights to ongoing legal education and assistance," he stated.
Renaldy further underscored the Ministry’s readiness to engage in concrete cooperation with APINDO. This includes business legality assistance, facilitation of intellectual property registrations (trademarks, copyrights, patents), and integrated legal outreach targeting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Meanwhile, APINDO Central Sulawesi Chair, Wijaya Chandra, conveyed his gratitude for the Ministry's warm reception and openness. He emphasized that strong legal protection is a key foundation for creating a competitive and investment-friendly environment.
"We want both APINDO members and other business actors to have adequate legal awareness and protection. This is not only vital for business sustainability, but also a concrete contribution from the private sector toward legal and economic development in the region," Wijaya remarked.
Both parties agreed to follow up on the meeting with more technical cooperation, including the formulation of joint programs to enhance legal awareness among entrepreneurs, accelerate business legality services, and advocate for business-related legal issues.
This initiative reflects Kanwil Kemenkum Sulteng’s commitment to delivering adaptive and responsive legal services that support regional economic growth through cross-sector collaboration.
