APINDO Hosts Strategic Meeting with DPP KNPI

Jakarta – The National Executive Board of the Indonesian Employers’ Association (DPN APINDO) welcomed a strategic audience with the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Youth National Committee (DPP KNPI) to strengthen synergy between the youth sector and the business community. The meeting took place at the APINDO national headquarters in Jakarta on June 10, 2025.

During the meeting, KNPI Chairman Ryano Panjaitan explained that KNPI serves as an umbrella organization for various youth organizations across the country. Currently, the committee is preparing for its upcoming National Leadership Plenary Meeting (Rapimpurnas), scheduled to be held on July 3–5, 2025 in Central Kalimantan. The forum will carry the theme “Youth Transformation Toward Golden Indonesia 2045” and will feature prominent national figures. Ryano emphasized that KNPI functions as a learning platform for youth leadership and holds legal recognition through a decree from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

“KNPI actively opens avenues for collaboration with various sectors, including the business community, to strengthen youth involvement in the economic sector. Supporting and empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is a priority, as many young people require such assistance. The outcomes of Rapimpurnas will be presented directly to the President as recommendations and contributions from Indonesia’s youth,” Ryano stated.

APINDO Chairwoman Shinta W. Kamdani welcomed KNPI’s initiative and reaffirmed APINDO’s commitment to labor issues, policy advocacy, and inclusive job creation.

“We are not only focused on large industries, but are also deeply committed to fostering MSME growth and entrepreneurship,” Shinta noted. “APINDO has been running Pentahelix programs such as UMKM Akademi and UMKM Merdeka (AUM) across 17 provinces, and we are ready to expand their reach nationwide.” She further emphasized that MSMEs represent a strategic entry point for collaboration between youth and the business sector.

The meeting was also attended by several APINDO executives, including Vice Chairman Sanny Iskandar, Vice Chair of Regional Government Affairs Parlindungan Purba, Chair of the Regional Government Committee Benyamin Sudarmadi, and Executive Director Rudolf Saut. Representing KNPI were Secretary-General Almanzo Bonara, Steering Committee Chair Rijal Ahmad, and Bondan Wicaksono.
