Minister of Trade Receives Visit from Apindo's Chairman
Monday, 08 July 2024The Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan, received a visit from the Chairman of the Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo), Shinta Kamdani, at the Ministry of Trade Office in Jakarta on Monday (July 8).
The meeting discussed the Minister of Trade Regulation (Permendag) Number 36 of 2023 concerning Import Policies and Regulations, as well as Permendag Number 8 of 2024 concerning the Third Amendment to Permendag Number 36 of 2023.
During the meeting, the government and the association discussed changes to the import regulations for certain groups of goods. They also discussed efforts to prevent illegal imports into Indonesia.
On this occasion, the Minister of Trade was accompanied by the Director General of Foreign Trade, Budi Santoso; the Minister's Special Staff for International Trade Agreements, Bara Krishna Hasibuan; and the Minister's Special Staff for Domestic Trade Promotion, Hadi Daryanto.
