NABIRE, June 3, 2025 – The Provincial Leadership Council of the Indonesian Employers Association (DPP APINDO) Central Papua has officially registered with the Agency for National Unity and Politics (Kesbangpol) of Central Papua Province.

Speaking to wipanews.com, Fransiskus Pekei, Chairman of APINDO Central Papua, stated that the association aims to support and develop entrepreneurs in the region so they can compete in the future business landscape.

“We officially registered today at Kesbangpol Central Papua, following the legitimacy granted by the National Leadership Council through Decree No. 268/SK-DPN/1.1/2B/V/25. We will begin collecting data on all business owners, so anyone interested in becoming a member is welcome to contact our local board,” Pekei said during an interview at Enaouto Café, Meriam Street, Nabire, Central Papua.

Fransiskus also mentioned that district-level leadership boards will soon be established across the eight regencies of Central Papua Province. “We have received the names of prospective district leaders, which will be submitted to the provincial board for formal inauguration before they begin their duties in each district,” he added.

Pekei emphasized that those wishing to become APINDO members must own a legally registered business (CV/PT).

“All members must have a legal business entity. Once that requirement is fulfilled, they are welcome to join. We are open to anyone committed to improving their professionalism and competitiveness in the business sector,” he said.
