Stekom University Establishes Strategic Partnership with APINDO Central Java

SEMARANG – The University of Science and Computer Technology (Universitas Stekom) has officially entered into a strategic partnership with the Indonesian Employers’ Association (APINDO) Central Java. The collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Stekom University’s conference hall on Tuesday (September 2, 2025).

This MoU marks a significant step in strengthening synergy between academia and industry. Through the partnership, Stekom University is committed to enhancing the quality of education, research, and community service, particularly in preparing graduates who are competent, adaptive, and aligned with the needs of the job market.

The cooperation with APINDO Central Java is expected to provide students with broader opportunities for internships, industrial work practices, and applied research collaborations relevant to the business sector. It also demonstrates Stekom’s commitment to nurturing highly competitive human resources at both regional and national levels.

The Rector of Stekom University emphasized that the collaboration is in line with the institution’s vision as an innovative and adaptive higher education institution, focused on advancing science and technology for the benefit of society. “Together with APINDO, we aim to build an ecosystem where education and business can grow hand in hand,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of APINDO Central Java highlighted that collaboration with universities is essential in bridging the gap between industry needs and higher education. “We are ready to support Stekom University’s efforts in producing high-quality graduates who are prepared to enter the workforce,” he stated.
