Saturday, 20 September 2025
Banten – The Governor of Banten and the Indonesian Employers’ Association (APINDO) Banten Province held a discussion on the issues and challenges faced by the industrial sector.
The event, held on Friday, September 19, 2025, in Jatake, Tangerang, brought together CEOs and business leaders from across the province.
Chairman of APINDO Banten, Tomy Rachmatullah, emphasized that the discussion was crucial for finding ways to address the current difficulties facing the industrial sector.
“The situation is challenging, and nearly every industrial sector is facing obstacles. We must solve this together, because we cannot do it alone. The business community needs the support and assistance of the government so that we can operate with confidence and contribute as much as possible to Banten and Indonesia,” Tomy said on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
During the discussion, business leaders presented several pressing issues requiring government support as regulator and policymaker.
“The outcome was quite constructive. We conveyed the problems faced by industry directly to the Governor, and he expressed strong commitment to follow up with concrete actions to resolve these issues together,” Tomy added.
Governor of Banten, Andra Soni, acknowledged the importance of input from business leaders in shaping economic growth policies.
“This discussion provided us with valuable insight into the state of industry and its challenges. As governor, I need suggestions, feedback, and even criticism from business actors who see the situation on the ground,” he said.
He added that the government would work to strengthen and accelerate economic growth. “We will seek solutions to reinforce and speed up economic growth, not just for Indonesia as a whole, but especially for Banten,” Andra concluded.
